HOME Removals Milton Keynes
Our friendly team is available for domestic private hire, we are also available for contract work for landlords. Our 5-star reputation is unmatched locally, each of our removals experts is passionate about maintaining it. We know more than anyone that moving house can be a stressful experience for many different reasons, that is why we are committed to meeting your individual needs. Whether you’ve got a prized possession that you need to be left in one piece or you need a little extra helping hand to pack your possessions before removal, we will be happy to help.
There is no item that we’d consider too big or too difficult to move, just make sure that you let us know if you’ve got a baby grand piano stowed away or a hot tub that needs hauling before moving day!
How Do I Get a Quote?
When you have your moving day (or dates) confirmed, give us a call as soon as possible to enquire about a quote. It will help if you have to hand, a comprehensive list of what needs to be moved before you speak to a member of our team.
For larger removals, we may want to visit you before moving day, just to check what needs moving and to see which of our fleet of vehicles will be best for the job. All of our quotes are offered without obligation – we will never charge you for coming out for a quote. Once we have provided a quote that you’re happy with we will find a date that suits your schedule and allocate a narrow time slot – you definitely won’t need to hang around and wait for us all day; our timely removal teams know how valuable our customers time is.
Your quote will depend on a number of factors, including how many of our removal team will be on-hand, the distance between your old home and your new home and any additional costs such as packing materials. All of the quotes provided to you prior to moving day are fully transparent, we won’t spring any added extras onto the bill when we’ve moved you from A to B. If you need some of your items to go into storage or to multiple locations, once again, we are happy to facilitate. Please also inform us prior to moving day if you need any assistance moving your pets – this is always considered on an individual basis.
What Will Happen on Moving Day?
As we are incredibly flexible with our House Removals service, what happens on moving day is largely up to you; we are happy to be as hands-on as you need us to be.
We are more than happy to help you dismantle large items of furniture such as beds and sofas, we are also happy to provide packing materials and help you safely prepare your items for travel. Alternatively, you can also have your belongings ready for us to pick up when we get there. We certainly don’t mind another pair of hands, but it certainly never an expectation of our customers.
Packing Materials
Even though it may not be our prized possessions loading in the vans, rest assured, we want them to get from A to B as safely as you do! To protect your furniture, we can provide protective blankets at no extra cost to ensure that there are no scuffs or marks on your favourite items of furniture when they are offloaded. We can also supply other packing materials such as bubble wrap, Styrofoam chips and cardboard boxes. As we try to keep our carbon footprint to a minimum, we only buy packaging from retailers who ethically source their materials.
Our House Removal Team
Each member of our Removal team has been fully vetted and is fully insured, and they don’t just checkout on paper! With their friendly yet professional service, plenty of our customers rate our team for their discretion, manners and pragmatic problem-solving skills. Even if something does go wrong on moving day, our team will work with you to ensure that any problems are quickly solved.
For House Removals, we usually send a 2-man or 3-man team. However, if you just have a few small and light items to move, it is possible to arrange a 1-man team to provide a more cost-effective service.
Our House Removals Fleet
If you are not sure which of our fleet will best suit your needs, we will use our expertise to decide for you. For smaller house removals, we can provide a small van, we also have two large Luton vans available for long-distance and short distance house removals.
